Committee on Plant Science, Agriculture and Food Biotechnology

This committee implements the Board of the Foundation’s granting decision for the support of project grants, postdoctoral fellowships and research leader grants for research within plant science, agriculture and food biotechnology.

The Novo Nordic Foundation Board has established an annual grant budget of DKK 100 million (€13.4 million), allocated between project grants (DKK 30 million), postdoctoral fellowships (DKK 10 million) and research leader grants (DKK 60 million), within this research field. Project grants, postdoctoral fellowships and research leader grants are awarded once annually following separate calls for applications.

The Committee on Plant Science, Agriculture and Food Biotechnology was established in 2020 and currently has seven members, consisting of a Chair and six other members. The Board of the Foundation selects the members in accordance with the general rules covering the Foundation’s committees.
